Tanya Prince had seemingly done everything by the rules all her life. She was a faithful Christian who led small groups and volunteered at her church. She was married and had a good job. Then it all came crashing down.
Through divorce, career loss, and personal failure, her faith went wayward for a couple of years. When Prince rediscovered faith, she also rediscovered identity and purpose in Christ. In this episode, Prince shares how learning to pause, reflect, and seek God changed her life and reinvigorated her faith. The experience has also led to her becoming an author, speaker, and purpose coach.
Highlights of the podcast:
2:28 What does seven-day practical faith mean to Prince
3:46 How Prince’s life turned sour but led to renewed faith
9:17 How to differentiate who you are from what you do
11:44 How to turn crisis into purpose
14:10 Purpose is like a river that can carry you to different places in life
16:35 The role of experience in shaping purpose
18:28 About her journal on understanding your purpose and God’s direction
20:51 Why does an individual need faith-based coaching?
22:43 The hardest part of putting faith into practice
26:50 Prince’s best tip for developing and maintaining a seven-day practical faith
28:21 How to find Prince’s reflective journal and her coaching offer
Speaking personally, this was a meaningful conversation for me. I believe Prince's message can help you better understand a simple purpose of being whom God made you to be.
