When life doesn't go our way, we often fight against it. But even in the midst of stressful times, God is working. The question is, are we working with God or against God as we address the issue?
This is what Chip Waggoner wrestled with when his son Benjamin was born with unique physical challenges. Time and again, Waggoner learned that God would use Benjamin's limitations for God's glory and to demonstrate the great things that can happen when we step aside and let God go to work.
Chip Waggoner is best known in the Dallas / Ft. Worth area for his decades of service as traffic reporter on Fox 4's Good Day morning show. Now Waggoner, with his family, has written the book "M.I.P. (Miracle in Progress)," the story of raising a child whose "normal" is not like ours. But it's not a health journal as much as it is a faith journey – trusting God in extreme circumstances, realizing that God’s possibilities are more than we imagine, learning to follow God through each phase, and using those experiences to be lights in the world.
In this episode of the Practical Faith Academy podcast, Waggoner sits down with an old friend, Cecil Taylor, to discuss the book and what he learned that can help us live a seven-day practical faith.
