I remember a sports talk host who would respond to rude comments by saying, "Where is the love?" I think we all wonder at times, "Where is the love?", whether in personal relationships or in our society. Or even in our own church communities.
In effect, Kim Sorrelle asked that question of herself when she undertook a yearlong experiment in living the Love chapter of the Bible, 1 Corinthians 13. The executive director of Rays of Hope International shares her insights in her book, "Love Is," and with us in this season's Episode 4 of the Practical Faith Academy podcast.
Sorrelle learned about love the hard way as she served the underprivileged in Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and other countries during her experiment. She failed. She grew. And she has a lot of say about love that we can apply in our own lives after listening to this stimulating podcast episode.
