Podcast Blog: S5, E20 - Randy Bishop, A Journey of Becoming

At some point in our life, I think each of us wakes up and says, "I'm not very happy with my life." Sometimes, this moment leads to a journey of self-discovery.

Randy Bishop went through that process last year. What emerged was a person who likes himself better and takes a simpler, lighter touch to make sure he is who he wants to be, and not what someone else wants him to be.

Bishop has captured his change process in a new book, "The RE Method: A Framework to Becoming.”  In this episode, Bishop suggests simple, straightforward methods to re-evaluate your life, to re-discover your purpose, and to put your faith into practice. His approach is full of humor, good will, and grace.

I feel Bishop can take difficult questions and concepts and boil them down to simple answers that still carry a lot of weight. For example, when I asked him his best tip for putting faith into practice, he said, "Be kind to another human being."
