The Practical Faith Academy podcast, hosted by Cecil Taylor, has been honored with the second place Silver medal in the Selah Award competition sponsored by the Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference

The Selah Award program is one of the most respected in the Christian media realm. In 2026, nearly 650 entries were submitted for the various awards.

​Host Cecil Taylor said, "It was a tremendous honor just to be named a finalist. But to be awarded second place is incredible! This is the most competitive award program I have entered. This honor is a testament not only to the work our team has put in, but to the many wonderful guests who have made the Practical Faith Academy an informative, moving, and entertaining spiritual presentation."

The Practical Faith Academy kicked off season 6 in May 2026 with 82 prior podcasts behind it. The twice-monthly podcast is planning to achieve its 100th episode in February 2027.
